Spent a short holiday on Mersea Island recently and the highlight was an afternoon and evening on the Lady Grace. Stacey is a delightful host and arranged a wonderful trip for us researching the tides and recommending sights / pubs so that it was just what we wanted. Beautiful journey back into the sunset too. Highly recommended

We really enjoyed the Sunset Cruise on 15 October 2017. We were so lucky with the weather and it was very relaxing and peaceful out on the water. Stacey was a great host, very welcoming and knowledgeable about all the wildlife. We saw Cormorants, Egrets and a flock of brent Geese flew above us, it was amazing. Stacey's cakes were delicious too! I am sure we will book up again. We hope to book a Birdwatching cruise too. Thank you so much x

I went out today at last light and the views were amazing. The captain was concentrating on the job in hand but still friendly and attentive. Her knowlege of the island was comprehensive to say the least. I will be returning and hopefully bringing my 5 year old son too.

The Lady Grace boat trips are what makes my trips to Mersea more amazing. I have the most fun on these trips and the experiences you give people are wonderful. The work you do is amazing and I recommend the trips to everyone. Thank you for the many trips I have been on and the many more to come!

My daughter and I had a fantastic trip on Lady Grace Boat Trips in September 2014, and weather was good. Enjoyed the trip, was taking loads of photos. As I was born in Mersea, going out on River Blackwater brought lots of memories of going out with my father. Looking forward to making this another annual event. Would tell everyone to make sure they take a trip, and meet Stacey with her lovely smile and sunny outlook. Next September can not get here quick enough. 5 stars

I've been on this boat trip on a scorching hot day and a freezing cold day and its always wonderful. Only fault is Stacey is so interesting / knowledgeable and passionate about her surrounding she talks and talks lol. Thanks for great trips

A must for any visit to Mersea. My 4 year old nephew absolutely loved it- kept saying it was the highlight of his day. Quite possibly the friendliest and tranquil boat trip there is.

Highly recommend, it is a great opportunity to sit back relax and enjoy the stunning scenery of the Island. We have enjoyed our trips and will undoubtedly be having more as my daughter loves it and the Skipper is warm, friendly and very caring. Thank you . See you soon.

Stacey our amazing skipper was just phenomenal. From booking our little family on to our boat trip to her patience and understanding when my son with autism was fearful to board the boat, she was extremely gracious and understanding. Stacey possesses great knowledge and experience and made our trip a fabulous occasion! Cannot thank you enough !

Sooo relaxing. Excellent boat trip ♡ I've been meaning to post this for months but with the hussle and bussle of life I'm just getting round to it, this is why days like the one we had when we went on a boat trip on the Lady Grace are so fantastically relaxing and special! We've visited Mersea Island a few times before and always wanted to go on a boat trip but never got the chance so looked them up the evening before going and came across the lady Grace. The boat trips are a bargain for £3 pp for 20 minutes. You wait on the jetty where everyones crabbing for the next boat trip out. We didn't wait long. Stacey our skipper was welcoming, friendly and helpful from the start, we sat, got comfy and were off and I have to say one of the loveliest boat trips we've been on. Stacey was informative and answered our questions and is very knowledgeable about the Island, surrounding areas and local wildlife. Fantastic skipper, thanks so much Stacey, we had a lovely time and look forward to returning again to escape the city soon. Highly recommend. A must while visiting this lovely little island.

A well priced little trip! Whilst having a walk around the area we came across the Lady Grace boat trip. The weather was a little cold, rain was threatened and the water a bit choppy but hey this is the UK! We were greeted by the very friendly captain of the boat and off we went. It’s a nice way of having a look around the bay, something a little different to add to your holiday memories and for very little money. Thoroughly enjoyed thank you.

The weather was a bit dull but the trip was the complete opposite . Stacey's cheerful banter combined with her comprehensive knowledge of the local wildlife made the time fly by. She made every effort to get us as near as possible to the birdlife so that we could get the best pictures but was also very mindful of not disturbing their natural behaviour. Due to this calm approach a large quantity of birds were spotted including as a bonus some seals which seemed quite unperturbed by the whole thing. Most enjoyable way to spend a couple of hours on a grey winters day.

knowledge in pointing out all the various species we saw in two hours was first class. it was great that you appreciated how best to help us take our photos. Loved the local history stories about the area as well. The seals were an added bonus! Will definitely have to come again and hope to catch some bright skies or sunsets.

An amazing time on the water Just got back from the sunset boat trip and wanted to say what an absolutely fabulous few hours. Stacey the very talented skipper, makes cakes, scarves .. writes books etc and is a passionate traveller like me. A very interesting young lady. Anyway she made sure our trip was perfect, and the added seal was the icing on the cake. Thank you Stacey we will be booking again .. are you ready for us lol.

Wonderful Experience I’ve been on several trips on Lady Grace with the Skipper Stacey Belbin ! I’ve been birdwatching ,had Tea & Cakes sunset trips and travelled to Bradwell for sunrise and sunset ! I can thoroughly recommend all of these ! Mike
