BOAT TRIPS RUN ALL DAY EVERYDAY

Lady Grace Boat Trips runs the 20 minute trips 7 days a week all year round, times vary based on the time of year but you can always ring to check operating times for the day.  No need to book, just turn up at the end of the jetty and wait for the boat to return.  We have no sets times, we just leave whenever anyone would like to go and there is no minimum number required either so we can leave with as little as one person on board.  The 20 minute trip costs just £3 per person, its the same price for children, babies and OAP's, everyones the same price.  The 20 minute trip consists of a gentle relaxing trip around the Packing Shed Island where they used to pack the oysters back in the 1850's, you can still see the remains from the old oyster beds today.  We can operate at all states of tide; if you come out near low water then we are likely to see a variety of wading birds on the mudflats or if you come on high tide you will see Mersea Island from a completely different perspective motoring past a variety of different moored pleasure and working boats.  This trip is suitable for individuals, families, groups and schools.

I also offer a variety of longer trips from sunset picnic trips, tea and cakes trips, pirate parties, wedding blessings, bird watching and a service for visiting yachtsmen.  To find out more about the longer trips please click here.

I am a photographer of all things beautiful on the water, whether it be a landscape, sunrise, sunset or wildlife - I capture it behind my lens and you can view and buy my photographs on canvas, HD metal and all occasion cards.  I published my first book, Daffodil's Journey Home, in October 2016, based on a true story of an abandoned duckling that escapes the clutches of a fox and comes to live with me until she is old and well enough to be released back to the wild.  My second book, Seabirds on the Seashore, was published in March 2017 sharing with you my passion for the wildlife I see on a daily basis out on Lady Grace, it is both educational as well as being a lovely cute story sharing the cheeky characteristics of the wading birds.  It has equal measures of happiness and sadness as you follow Sidney Spoonbill and Edith the Little Egrets' adventures. These books are available on my website through my online shop to buy, you can view these items by clicking here. They make wonderful Christmas and Birthday presents!
